Vickie will be 6 months old next week and we are hoping to do a photo shoot this weekend. Since I plan on making a 6-month blog entry, here are a few pictures I didn't want to forget to share...
I've been holding off on doing much traveling for work. G'pa has been handling all of the IABTI Regional conferences this fall. I do plan on going to Tampa, FL in November though. Last year in Witchita, they had a silent auction. Being as pregnant as I was, no one wanted to outbid me on this pacifier (with the IABTI logo). I was convinced I was going to have a little boy but won it anyways...boys can wear pink right? Well I found it while going through some of her stuff and couldn't resist taking this picture for her G'pa to show off at the trade shows :) And the pink ended up working out perfectly!
I'm loving the babylegs! Had to get a few pair...and have a few more on order :)
Vickie seemed pretty interested in her Dad's motorcycle while visiting him in the garage the other night. What better opportunity to get a picture of her on it. Don't worry, I cropped myself out of the picture and was holding her there.
She is doing so well at sitting up all by herself now. We prop her up with the pillow, not necessarily because she needs it, just because she gets so pissed off if she falls over. She definitely does not want to be on her back while playing anymore. She either rolls over onto her stomache or tries to sit up. I cant wait for her to start crawling which I'm sure she's only a couple of weeks away from doing.
I can't wait to see what we come up with for her 6 month photos. Dan is actually planning on pulling out his camera! I don't think there are any Vickie pictures on it yet. The cell phone camera is nice, but the quality just isn't what I'd like it to be.....
